STANDARDS FOR USAGE

FOR USERS:

Files are in pdf format and may be viewed in your browser or downloaded to your hard drive.

The authors give permission for the use of these resources in public worship and for the distribution of their writing in bulletins and other worship documents. You must cite the author's name in your bulletin or program when you use their work. There are many ways to do this but here are the two most common:

1. In the main text of your bulletin:

Call to Worship..................written by Jane B. Doe
Leader: Praise God!
People: Praise God....

This is especially good if you're using materials from more than one person in your worship.

2. In the 'credits' section:

Pastor: Ima Yourpastor
Organist: Ida Playforyounow
Call To Worship & Invocation: Jane B. Doe

FOR AUTHORS:

Inclusive worship resources will use inclusive language for God and people.

Please include the Scripture reference(s), if appropriate, and the Lectionary day and season (ex. First Sunday in Lent) if keyed to the Revised Common Lectionary.

Submit your resources in pdf, MS Word, rich text, or text file online. As a last resort, send the text in the body of an email.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot guarantee that we will post your resources online. If we have concerns, we will contact you about them and hopefully reach a satisfactory conclusion.

Every author will be contacted by email and updated on whether the work has been posted online or whether edits are requested.
